Who Will be Rio Grande City’s Next Miss Freedom Fest?



The Rio Grande City Miss Freedom Fest Pageant is set to take place on Friday, June 7, 2024, offering young women in the community a chance to showcase their talents and contend for the coveted title.

 

Registration packets for the pageant are now available and can be picked up at the Kelsey Bass Museum located at 101 S. Washington Street. This event, a highlight of the city's annual Freedom Fest celebration, offers participants an opportunity to represent Rio Grande City with pride and grace.

 

"We're thrilled to announce the upcoming Miss Freedom Fest Pageant," said Cathy Rubio, coordinator of the event. "It's a wonderful opportunity for young women in our community to showcase their talents and be part of our city's festivities."

 

Interested participants can obtain registration packets at the museum during regular operating hours. For more information about the pageant, individuals can contact Cathy Rubio at (956) 487-5818 or via email at crubio@cityofrgc.com. The deadline to submit registration is Tuesday, May 28.

 

"The Miss Freedom Fest Pageant is a tradition that celebrates poise, talent, and community spirit," added Rubio. "We encourage all eligible young women to participate and become ambassadors for Rio Grande City."

 

The pageant is open to contestants from ages 4-18. Winners will have the opportunity to represent Rio Grande City at local events and engage in community service activities throughout their reign.

 

The Rio Grande City Miss Freedom Fest Pageant promises to be an exciting and memorable event, bringing together residents to celebrate the spirit of Rio Grande City and its talented youth.
