Christian Salinas is a freelance documentary filmmaker, multimedia journalist and videographer based in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. With more than 25 years of experience working in video, sound and journalism, he has spent his career documenting the people, communities, events and stories that make South Texas unique.
Telling South Texas Stories
From small community events to larger documentary projects, Christian's work is rooted in the Rio Grande Valley and the people who call South Texas home. His experience includes interviews, location sound recording, event coverage, public affairs video, documentary production and multimedia journalism.
He has worked with local governments, schools, nonprofits, news organizations, businesses and independent filmmakers, producing video that documents important moments and preserves stories that might otherwise be forgotten.
