UTRGV’s FESTIBA Brings Arts and Literacy Events to the Rio Grande Valley

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas — The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is hosting its annual Festival of International Books and Arts, known as FESTIBA, throughout February, offering community programs focused on literature, culture and the arts.


According to information published by UTRGV, the month-long festival promotes literacy and creative expression through workshops, performances and cultural programming across campuses and community venues throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Organizers say the event is designed to connect students, educators and residents through the transformative power of the arts.
