As part of an ongoing effort to keep the community clean and beautiful, Rio Grande City is calling on volunteers to participate in the annual Spring Trash Bash on April 5, 2025, at 9 a.m. The cleanup event will begin at Britton Ave. Quisosco, with volunteers working together to remove litter and beautify public spaces.
Organized under the Keep Rio Grande City Beautiful initiative, the event encourages residents to take pride in their city by making a visible impact on the environment. Participants will be provided with gloves, trash bags, and safety vests, and they are encouraged to wear clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor work.
“This is a great opportunity for our community to come together and make a difference,” said event coordinator Yandery de la Cruz. “A cleaner city is a better city, and we invite everyone to join us in keeping Rio Grande City beautiful.”
