The City of RGC Planning and Zoning Department attended the Texas Environmental Health Association (TEHA) 20th Annual Conference 2023 from December 6th to the 8th, at South Padre Island, Texas.
During this conference, participants not only collected the required continuing education hours (CEU's) for the respective licenses, but also learned new methods and legislative updates on Emergency Management, Food Establishments, Vector Control, Animal Control, Code Enforcement and Environmental Health. “We would also like to congratulate Gilbert Millan, City of RGC Planning and Code Enforcement Director, for receiving an award of recognition from TEHA for dedication and commitment to the cause,” declared Rio Grande City Mayor Joel Villarreal.
The Texas Environmental Health Association is a community of environmental health professionals that work for the betterment of the health and welfare of people through the improvement of the environment. TEHA connects these professionals to the resources, education, peer networking and community they need to succeed.
