Rio Grande City Police Department Celebrates Officer Javier Gonzalez's Retirement

The Rio Grande City Police Department extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Officer Javier Gonzalez, who is retiring after 27 years of dedicated service.

Officer Gonzalez, who joined the force in 1997, has been a reliable presence in the community, known for his professionalism and commitment. A retirement ceremony was held at the police department earlier this month, attended by colleagues, and friends.

"Officer Gonzalez has been an integral part of our department for nearly three decades," said Police Chief Noe Castillo. "His contributions to public safety and his dedication to our community are deeply appreciated. We wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement."

Reflecting on his career, Officer Gonzalez expressed gratitude for the support he received throughout his service. "It has been an honor to serve the people of Rio Grande City," he said. "I am thankful for the friendships and experiences I've gained over the years."
