Rio Grande City Police Department Celebrates Officer Javier Gonzalez's Retirement



The Rio Grande City Police Department extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Officer Javier Gonzalez, who is retiring after 27 years of dedicated service.


Officer Gonzalez, who joined the force in 1997, has been a reliable presence in the community, known for his professionalism and commitment. A retirement ceremony was held at the police department earlier this month, attended by colleagues, and friends.


"Officer Gonzalez has been an integral part of our department for nearly three decades," said Police Chief Noe Castillo. "His contributions to public safety and his dedication to our community are deeply appreciated. We wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement."
