Rio Grande City EDC to Host ‘Coffee Talk’ this Thursday, May 9



The Rio Grande City Economic Development Corporation (EDC), cordially invites residents and business owners to this year’s “Coffee Talk” event happening, Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the local EDC Office located at City Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This event is part of the City’s celebration of National Economic Development Week.

 

Coffee Talk provides an opportunity for residents to meet the key individuals driving economic development in Rio Grande City and learn about the initiatives and projects shaping the city's economic future.

 

"We're excited to invite our community to Coffee Talk as part of National Economic Development Week," said Sara Hernandez, interim executive director of the RGCEDC. "This is your chance to meet the important people behind the scenes of economic development in our great city."

 

National Economic Development Week recognizes the critical role that local EDCs play in helping create jobs, advancing innovation, and improving quality of life in communities across the country. The Rio Grande City EDC is proud to join in this nationwide celebration by engaging with residents and showcasing their efforts to stimulate economic growth.

 

"Rio Grande City is a vibrant and dynamic community, and economic development is key to our continued success," Hernandez emphasized. "Coffee Talk is an opportunity for residents to learn about the exciting projects happening in our city and how they can get involved."

 

Residents are encouraged to stop by the Rio Grande City EDC Office on May 9th to enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation with the EDC team. They can learn about current initiatives, ask questions, and share ideas for the future of economic development in Rio Grande City.
