The Rio Grande City Public Utilities Department recently acquired a new John Deer 4x4 Tractor and Rotary Unit. This new valuable piece of equipment will be used for the maintenance of right-of-ways, detention ponds, maintenance of the municipal airport as well as general property maintenance.
The tractor was acquired by the City of Rio Grande City through Certificates of Obligations with a total cost of $60,000 for the tractor unit and a cost of $20,000 for the Rotary Unit.
