Enjoy a Free Magic Show this Friday at the RGC Public Library

The Rio Grande City Public Library invites the community to enjoy a free magic show presented by magician John O' Bryant on Friday, June 14, starting at 10:30 am.

The Magic show is part of the library's ongoing Summer Reading Program - Fun Friday Series which kicked-off last week with a visit to the library by the UTRGV Astronomy Club, and will conclude next week with a presentation by Sylvan Learning, featuring the Lego EV3 Space Rover.

According to his official website, magician John O'Bryant is taking the age-old art of magic and adding his own unique twist and touch to it. He has turned what was once just a childhood dream of his into a reality. Now, for nearly 10 years, John's original style of magic, illusion, and comedy has taken him across the country where he has astonished crowds both big and small and made him one of the most in demand magicians of today. While performing up to 250 show annually, John has been a regular featured act at one of the largest theme parks in America (SeaWorld Adventure Parks) almost 200 times and has been the spokesperson/magician for many CPS Energy LiveGreen commercials.
