The City of Rio Grande City invites all local moms to a Mother's Day event happening Thursday, May 9, starting at 6:00 pm, at the Kelsey-Bass Museum.
The event is free and open to the public and will feature appetizers, flower gifts, a photo booth, a photo contest, and door prizes. "Come celebrate Mother's Day with your mom at the Kelsey Bass Museum," declared Sara Hernandez with the Rio Grande City Tourism Dept. "Be sure to send your favorite photo with mom to Priscila Perales at pamador@cityofrgc.com, for a chance to win a gift basket."
This event is a collaborative effort between the Kelsey-Bass Museum, the Rio Grande Public Library and the RGC Tourism Dept. The Kelsey-Bass Museum is located on 101 S. Washington St.
