A long-standing tradition, the Rio Grande City Christmas Parade will once again roll down historic main street on Friday evening, December 7, starting at 7:00 pm. This year the parade is being organized by the newly reestablished Greater Rio Grande City Chamber of Commerce and will feature parade floats from several local schools, business, and organizations. The theme of this year’s parade is Christmas in Candy Land. Leading the way will be parade marshals Mr. & Mrs. Lino and Becky Canales.
