The Rio Grande City Tourism Dept. hosted a Family Fun Day at the Fordyce Nature Trails on Saturday, May 12.
A big feature of the event was the third annual 5K Color Rain Dash run which benefits the Rio Grande City Crime Stoppers.
The Rio Grande City Fordyce Nature Hike & Bike Trails are located next to the Starr County Courthouse Annex in the West side of town, off of FM 3167 Rd.
Also on Saturday, the Rio Grande City Planning Department assisted local veterinarian Dr. Roberto S. Margo in hosting a Rabies clinic to offer a low cost vaccination option to Starr County residents, and help maintain the health of our beloved pets.
