Día Del Niño, or Children's Day, is a cherished tradition in many Hispanic cultures, dedicated to celebrating the joy and importance of children in our community. This free event promises an evening of fun-filled activities, games, prizes, and books for children and families to enjoy together.

"We're excited to host this Día Del Niño celebration at Basilio Villarreal Municipal Park," said RGC Public Library Director Norma Fultz. "It's an opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the children in our community."

The event will feature various games and activities suitable for children of all ages. From fun activities to storytelling, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, children will have the chance to win prizes and take home books to foster a love of reading.

"We want to create a memorable experience for the children of Rio Grande City," added Fultz. "This celebration is a testament to our commitment to providing enriching and enjoyable experiences for our community."
